Quick update on my clowns: batch one is 12 DPH and they have started eating some powdered food with the NHBS. The second batch started hatching out two nights ago and looked like 50+ hatched. Started those on rotifers and green water.
The pair just started laying eggs again today so this will be the third batch coming up. I’ll post some pics tomorrow. This is definitely keeping me busy!

Quick update:
Batch 1: 16 DPH. Going strong, only 10 individuals but looking good. They are mostly feeding on enhanced brine shrimp mixed with TDO A.
Batch 2: 5 DPH. Had a large die off between day 2 and 3, similar to fist batch. There are still about a dozen or so that have survived. My rotifer culture took a dive for some reason even though it has been going strong for the last month. I had to restart the culture and I was short of rotifers at a critical time. I know that had a lot to do with the losses for batch 2. The remaining ones are now on NHBS and mixed in TDO A.
Batch 3: eggs are 3 days old. Another good sized nest and hatch night should be on Monday 13th. I'll move the eggs on Sunday to the hatching tank.
I'll take some pics and add later today.

4 days till they can go to grow out tank right? And batch 1 made it through meta fine?
That’s about right! Sort of play it by feel. The first batch was moved today to a larger tank (2.5 G) so I could add a sponge filter. Looks like they all transferred ok! Batch 2 needs a water change today.
Can you have a 2nd pair of clowns in the same tank? If so I’d love to purchase a couple of your babies when they’re ready. I have a bonded pair already in a 125g. Thanks.
I wouldn’t think so. If they were introduced together might work out in a 125 but your pair would likely kill the new ones.
Well that wouldn’t be good!! Of course mine never, ever come out of the corner of the tank they host lol, that’s why I was asking. Oh well, maybe if I start another tank some day. My pair is quite young so maybe as they mature they’ll swim about more. They don’t have a nem to host as my tank is not mature enough for one. Perhaps someday, but by that time they probably wouldn’t know what to do with it lol. Having fun watching the progress nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.
So I tried these rubber anemones with my clowns and they actually took to them!
