Female acquired as adult on 1/22/2008 and she was already full grown adult of at least 2 years per previous owner. Male juvenile purchased on 10/17/2008. Pair bonded immediately. First spawning and egg laying occurred in early Feb 2009. Raised about 50 to juvenile size from hatch on 2/19/2009.</span></span>

Male joins in and begins cleaning area. Female lays eggs in a couple of hours, fertilized by male. Approximately eight days until hatch out. Eggs hatch just after lights go out between 10 and 11PM. When GBTA moves around in tank, the pair stops laying until they find another spot under the anemone to clean off and start laying again. The pair took a hiatus when the GBTA in the tank met up with the Vortech pump in the tank and nearly crashed the tank. It took two months for the pair to start laying eggs again. </span></span>
