Dang man... I am just at a lost on how you came to a conclusion that this was a good idea, especially with how much money you put into it.

Please tell me you have some way to test and keep your parameters stable. Also, how do you plan feed your corals and the clam since there is no fish. Did you at least buy some bacteria starter?

These guys are speaking from experience. Every tank is unique and first hand experience is the best albeit most expensive way to learn. Just hang on and enjoy the ride.
That being said…I see a couple of your chalices starting to go. And the monti and favia. Also adding a clam this early rarely, if ever, works out.
I stuffed my very first tank full of corals and fish as well and it did ok so who knows.

I agree there's certain ways to do things, that being said I'd be surprised if I lost more than a couple things. Many of these were fresh frags so if they look rough to you that's why - they were broken by hand.

The LPS will do fine. Sps will loose a lot, if not all coloration tho. Most are easy enough to weather this. I’ve started tanks faster. Only concern would be the clam, during the initial bloom. Other than that the hobby is come a long ways. I don’t remember the last time I did a long cycle.

Some updates 3 weeks in. Added a total of 50 corals or so, I think 40 the first week. All are doing well and growing. Only lost the one chalice that was roughly snapped by hand and the deep water acro which might have been cooked by the halide par.
