After bringing my reef down here 2 21/2 years my reef , 95 wave is almost were I want it , just got to keep ripping out star polyps . Finally got a auto top off and had my apex going for 6 months, including the soldering repair, and the Neptune dos has been keeping my alkalinity steady up to 8.5 from 7.5 , for the last two years I just added Kalk +2 and had decent results , just an old yellow tang and a few other fish and a 30” zebra moray
I also have a 16 gallon nano packed with softies.
A 150 high freshwater
A 75 salt quarantine with a nice emperor angel that’s got a bad swim bladder, but healthy
And a 540 gallon salt tank

it’s hard to comprehend 3 feet deep and 3 feet tall until you try to reach anything in there
but since it’s primarily going to be a fish and softy tank it doesn’t matter
