Vics CD 180G Peninsula

The golden gonzos was overtaking several acros so I moved the giant rock with 100’s of them to the sandbed. Not a fan of having a busy sandbed but at least my acros now have more room to grow. Before and after
Love Gonzos, never knew they could be so invasive. Gotto admit, they look pretty sick in a big mat like that.

Not reef related but if you ever want to install your own boat flooring. Watch a bunch of videos first. It made the process so much easier.

1st pic was when I got the boat. The sea grass carpet was fine until it got wet, then it was a nasty wet carpet feel. Also, you can see where the old sea dek was just peeling off. Removing that was a pain, used a lot of mineral oil and acetone to clean up the old glue.

I bought new flooring in the fall during Aqua Marine Deck BF sale. I just got done installing it today. Took 4 hours: Removed the old snaps, filled with 3M 4200, cleaned the floor with soap, cleaned with acetone, prepped with 3M tape primer, and down the floors went.
