Well build number 3 has officially started! Number 2 had to go on the back burner for now due to some unruly clowns. This is a Waterbox Peninsula 25 with AI Prime light. No skimmer yet we will wait and see if we need one. Next is to order a lid from Kraken reef.

They are pretty close to the same. We have a IM Nuvo 30L as well. Of course there is upgrades to both tanks. With the WB we had to cut the silicone sock holder to put in an InTank media caddy. Also with the WB the sump wall is not very tinted we could see the ATO sensor light through it. We plan on doing a small Refugium in the middle section so we bought another InTank caddy and that makes it dark enough that the Refugium light won’t shine into the tank. Other than those minor tweaks we love both of them.

Well the Penn 25 is being broken down and scrubbed. We have lost our mandarins and a clown to something. Symptoms don’t match any bacterial fungal or parasite infection. Parameters were on point at 0 Ammonia 0 Nitrite ~ 5-10 Nitrates salinity 1.025. Sucks we have to start over but at this point we have run out of options.

Alright so the 25 was taken down and scrubbed and all the rock was left to completely dry out. This past weekend we redid the rock work added new sand and started cycling it. While picking up water on Sunday we spotted a clown that is the closest we have seen to our male clown we lost. We decided to go ahead and pick him up to start his qt. Hopefully by the next weekend we will be able to add everyone back in.

We’re back baby! We are completely cycled with new rock lay out and so far our female clown is getting along with her new boy toy

Ohh no! Not after all the hard work we put into it plus these guy are members of this crazy family. Thankfully we were able to save the one clown and blenny. My other tank is finishing up their treatment right now and then they will be moved to the observation tank for 6 weeks.
