Hi everyone And anyone who looks at this I have only been keeping my 40 gallon salt water for about since January of last year I love it so far and I only have two fish two black clown fish and they’ve been doing very well and my parameters seem to be in check and all my coral is thriving and I was curious if anyone had an any ideas of what kind of fish livestock I should have if any ideas or if you’re a breeder that would be great please list anything have a wonderful day And always keep reefing

There’s plenty you can keep, just remember you’ll want to quarantine any new fish for at least a month. In a 40breeder damsels work well, blennies are active cool fish, some smaller wrasse species, jaw fish if you have a sand bed, basslets, mandarins if you have a healthy pod population. Skip any tangs.

a couple blue damsels always look nice to me - the ones with yellow tails are less aggressive/obnoxious than some damsels.
