The board would like to reiterate that the club does not get involved in individual transactions. However when we get more than a few complaints against a certain user it is our duty to the club to ensure that our members can trust the marketplace we have in place.
Carlos06 was warned multiple times behind the scenes about claiming items and not following through with the sellers. When it came to our attention that Carlos06 was paid for an item but did not ship it out as promised a few board members sent him messages urging him to follow through. The buyer did eventually receive what was agreed on.
When a thread was posted in buyer/seller feedback about Carlos06 it became flooded with similar experiences. This is when the board became aware of canceled paypal transactions after Carlos06 had picked up the items. This could be considered theft by deception. The sellers were eventually compensated after weeks of back and forth.
Due to the complaints the board voted on a 2 week ban from the marketplace for Carlos06. This ban ended late April 2022. He was warned that if there were ANY more complaints against him there would be a permanent ban. After the most recent buyer/seller feedback thread the Board has no option other to enact a permanent ban against Carlos06. If anyone sees a new user that we missed and it turns out to be Carlos when buying or selling please let a board member know so we can handle it.
We highly advise EVERYONE to reread the terms of service and the sales forum rules. The rules are in place for a reason and the Board takes the reputation of the club and our marketplace very seriously.
