AI Nero 3’s

My tank is 3 months old and I’ve already had 2 Nero 3’s break. To their credit they sent me replacements. I just noticed that one is down AGAIN! This will be the 3rd broken Nero in 3 months. Is anyone else having these issues? I thought Nero were suppose to be good!!

What is breaking on the Nero 3, is it the plastic or the motors ?

All 4 of mine are running fine. I clean em every month or so

I had 1 bad pump right outside of the box brand new.
So far Ive owned 4. 3 bought new and 1 I bought used. The wire came off the used one I bought.
Must been pulling wire over time when removing the cover off the pump.

I have had issues also, mine is with the motherboard. Out of warranty so I opened both and my Nero 3 had a corroded power plug on the inside. Couldn’t find anything wrong in the inside of the 5. I took the motherboard out of the 5 out it in the 3 and it’s working great I’m just not turning it higher than the 3s go.

I have nero 5s, ran 2.5 years never a hiccup.

Currently running 2 Nero 3's on back wall of Red Sea 300 with no issues.

Sometimes my Nero 3 will get stuck but then I take it out and clean it and it starts working again
