I recently saw a tank outfitted with Aquaroche that looked absolutely stunning. Problem is it was online and can not get a hold of the guy to ask questions. I want to completely outfit a 450g with this rock, what do you think I would need? I'd like to have possible 6-8 islands and a possibly a few back walls.
What is your opinion on this product? Is it as porous as they claim? Compared to real rock?

Heres a picture of what I'd like to capture throughout the whole tank.

i have it/ had it running in my 300.. covered the entire back wall..the stuff is awesome. interlocks with the pieces next to each other so that you cannot tell where the seams are. they send loose pieces and glue so you can fix/ add extra pieces where you like. Works just like regular base rock. I plan on using mine again as soon as i set up my 300. Only con to this stuff is the price, but then again the aquascape they can make you is awesome. They made mine in 12 inch sections. Mine was originally shipped in from france. i believe there are now distributers here in the states.

Ceramic is extremely porous. This stuff is really nice and really light. I wanted to use it in mine, but at that point there was shipping issues (long time ago). I wish I would've waited and used it.

Hehe this is their sponsor forum.

Amazing rock, and would look killer in a big system. Could imagine the fish right now circling in and out of the islands.
