I have used the eheim feeder and am happy with it but I would like to see what the other members use.

I am looking to buy two more. These will mainly be used to release small amounts of pellets multiple times a day to supplement my regular feeding schedule.

I have an ehiem and a cheap amazon one. I have considered the Avast plank, it has great reviews but hard to spend $200 on an automatic feeder. Maybe one day.....

I have 2 Hydros Automatic Fish Feeder - Coralvue
They dont like being dropped in the tank so I actually have 3, one of which no longer works :)
At 35 dollars its not a bad deal but they require a $160 Hydros controller.
Pro's: they are WiFi and i'm able to schedule or feed from anywhere.
Cons: Its a pain to setup and when they lose connection. I had a modem go out in the house. Took me two days to get them connected and working correctly again.
Sometimes large flakes can clog the trap and it has to be cleared before it feeds. I fix this by breaking up the flakes when I fill.

All in all though, I like being able to use the app to feed and schedule when I go out of town. Wish we could do this with frozen foods :)
