I want to add an old style power bar to me newer apex system. Do use a USB cable to connect it to the new apex head unit?

Yes you need an aquabus cable. It can be plugged in to the base unit or you can daisy chain it into the eb832 or another module
I have some cables and some eb8's in the post I just listed
How much for an aquabus cable and a eb8?
