Hey guys, been a long time! I know I met a lot of you through Reefworks and I was happy to serve all of you! I'm in Minnesota now, and finally getting my tank up and going.

This tank has been sitting and running for about 6 months and 5 months with just two clownfish. About a month ago I started slowly adding corals and fish, and I finally feel like its time to start taking pictures and documenting my progress. I would have posted in the Member Tank forum, but I just realized I'm not a member :shout:

A few things about the tank: The best part is I have it plumbed into my basement so I was able to use a really large sump (runs at around 60 gallons) and makes maintenance a lot more convenient! The stand was custom made by Reeferman (Reggie) here from ARC, and I couldn't be happier with it. Pretty sure he never should have trust me to Stain it though, =(. The one sore spot is that up where I live is close to the "iron range" which is an area of heavy taconite and Iron mining, so it's obviously very very prevalent in the water. This means I go through filters extremely quickly, especially the sediment filter. I literally change the sediment filter once a week, and carbon blocks every two weeks, and the DI Resin once a month. =( Doing this, TDS stays a constant 0 but I have to really work hard at it...

Equipment:

90 gallon rimless cube
Custom Stand/Canopy made by Reeferman (Reggie)
Vortech MP40
2 ReefLEDlights p47 LED fixtures, run at 180watts each (run by Apex)
Reeflo return pump
Reef Octopus SRO 3000int
1 Phosban 550 running BRS carbon
1 Phosban 150 running GFO
1 BRS bio pellet reactor
Neptune Apex w/ EB8 and EB4
Reef Octopus CR100 calcium reactor
BRS 5 stage RO/DI
Custom elite Milk Jug kalk drip
Few things I'm Forgetting

Fish so far: (keeping it really simple for a while)

Blue Hippo Tang
Yellow Tang
Midas Blenny
Two Clowns
Lawnmower Blenny
Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse

Coral:

Almost all coral came from my good friends back in Georgia, mainly Reggie (Reeferman) Joseph Ringle, and Chris (Darth Reefer). I promised my wife I wouldn't be as snobby about corals and not go chalice crazy, but I've snuck a few nice pieces in for sure. I mainly wanted to go SPS heavy, with Zoas lining the rocks

SPS: SSC, Setosa, Rommels rainbow, ORA bonsai, Red Dragon, IceFire, Hawkins, Pearlberry, raspberry limeade table, BBG Millie, Palmers blue Milli, Pink lemonade Red Planet, Forest Fire digi, Ponape BN, Green stylo, and a few awesome unamed Aussies

Notable Zoos: Red/Blue/purple hornets, rastas, sunny Ds, tubbs, darth mauls, Fruit loops, Dragonflies, BamBams, and lots more I can't remember without looking at the tank

Here are a few pictures, it's basically just a tank full of frags right now, but everything is super stable and I hope that months down the road it will grow in nicely and start looking more natural. I've always preferred to grow out frags than stock up on colonies. Fingers crossed, but I've yet to lose any coral, including SPS, and I think that is partly due to being so patient and in no rush to stock the tank too fast, too soon

Any feedback is welcome!

Also, my photo skills need some brushing, up, lol.

Awesome Ryan! Sweet looking tank! Looks like the perfect size for me in the future, I'm about to start breaking mine down, unfortunately.
