Mp10w QD not sticking to Red Sea 8mm glass?

So I just swapped out my biocube 32 led for my Red Sea nano I’ve had sitting in my garage still in the box. So I went to put my mp10 on and the dry side keeps coming off when I start it up. It shows the glass tolerance is 9.5 mm and the tank is only 8mm. Any ideas?

Never had issues with my biocube and running it.

Opening the wet side and cleaning the stem and magnet may help.

I’ll try that. I tried 2 different wet sides with the same outcome. I had the one that I was using in my biocube and then one I had still in the box from after I cleaned it and swapped them out a month or 2 ago. But maybe that’s all it is. It held fine on the biocube but maybe with the thicker glass it’s just not getting as strong of a contact.

My man. Never even thought about that. Yup sure enough it had the spacer still on it. I’ve had it so long I forgot about it
