Frag rack picture background

Always jealous of some of you guys who post great pictures, I noticed many of them have a very dark or black background. Having no photoshop skills I decided to DIY a background. Painted a thin acrylic sheet black and glued it to a frag rack. Here are the first results, I'll be posting for sale soon. All taken with Samsung Galaxy S10 in Pro mode at 10,000k. If anyone can put a name on 4, 7 or 9 I'd appreciate it. Thanks

And yeah; common name: pink hydnophora... although maybe is actually paraclavarina triangularis. If so, not really a hydnophora even if we call it that sometimes

(In our hobby, we misname a bunch of corals)

And 9 looks like blue ridge coral, Heliopora. They are a light brown a coloration. But if you check the underside of the skeleton, it should be blue instead of white.

Paraclavarina Triangularis IS exactly right, thanks for jogging my memory, on the Blue Ridge Coral too.

Looks good Steve! I did the same when I built my 5 gallon pico. I painted the filter black with krylon fusion and it worked great for years but one day I had some sort of bacteria show up and start eating the paint. I’ve switched to using black acrylic for builds now since it’s cheap and easy to get from Amazon.
