My 26g reef setup has completly fried while I was out of town for work (95 f)
day. Came home to protein skimmer going crazy, all of the coral is gone the only thing that survived were my two clowns and they barely survived. Looking to start fresh from scratch anything will help. Thanks |

:( I am so sorry. Glad that your clowns survived.
What happened for your heat to climb that high? |

My heater malfunctioned. I used to always see people getting out the hobby and always used to wonder how they could leave it. But now I see how; I almost ate those words, but I'm going to ride the storm out. Hopefully my new build will make it worth while.

What kind of heater, where there any safeguards? Did you run a chiller, controller?
Only reason I'm asking is to learn and hopefully avoid.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I never liked having a heater on my tank.
So are you going to selling your current tank? |
