RO Water Hose Attachment !
Hi. I had a nice experience today and thought i would pass it along. I have an RO system that i connect my 1/4" tubing to a water hose via a plastic water hose adapter.
![]() Since my outfit is in the garage, i string this 1/4 hose out a door and connect to my water hose. I knew i was going to leave this thing lying out one day and run over it. Guess what i did! Forget Home Depot and Lowes. I didnt want to order one online cause i needed top off water today and found it squished. Ace Hardware (in Tucker GA). They have everything. Not the same part, but the fellows there gave me a brass hose fitting and a quick connect fitting they attached for a 1/4" hose and bingo! Better than the original by far (i could probably run over this one). Cost 7 dollars. Just thought this was pretty cool and wanted to pass it along. Made my day. |

Ha, I was hell bound to do the same thing one day and had to use four different adaptors, due to low stock, to make it work. I'll try and remember to post a pic when I get to Atlanta, it's pretty humorous

awesome, and not a bad price. I have not been to an ACE in years, will keep them in mind for future plumbing needs
