Maxi-mini nems and Light

For those folks who own these, what kind of lighting is it under and how many inches?

From what I have read they require similar care to other nems. Just curious if I could get away with it in the Biocube 8 with 2X18watt PC for a few months before the LEDs go in?

Thanks for your inputs in advance.

I wouldnt risk it with your flaming prawn gobies!!! They are fish killers, part of the carpet family. Plus those little dudes are awesome!

I've kept them under PC's in the past and they did fine for me. Make sure you have some rock stacked so they can move around and pick a spot that they like. Some of mine liked the shade and some moved up as close to the light as they could get.

Perfect, thanks guys. Peachy this is in the Solana, for now, but I was considering it......maybe not though. I was concerned about the little guys as well, for sure not anytime soon due to size. Thanks again.
