He was on one of the new episodes during shark week this year. Pretty cool. I can't remember though if it was him or another diver that grabbed the great white's snout and rolled it over

WOW that was cool!! I think I saw something like that on shark week as well and they were talking about theres a lot of nerve endings on a sharks nose so if you touch it, they kinda freeze up on you. Keep that in mind if anyone ever gets attacked by a shark. Punch the sucker in the nose and it'll make him go stupid.

That's really neat. Has anyone found out exactly why sharks go catatonic when you rub their noses or turn them over? I know it's because of the nerve endings, but I haven't heard anyone discuss the anatomical or biological reasons behind it.

That was incredible... bravery, confidence, or stupidity; I don't posess enough of either to try that. Hanging out on the bottom, probably, but feeding out of hand? Not in this lifetime.
