T5 Lighting????
Would 24in 4x24w T5 fixture be enough light to keep SPS in a 30g Cube?

Remind me what the depth of that tank is. I think it would work, but I'm not sure if you'd need to keep it all near the top.

Its a standard Marineland Cube 18in deep, I'm sure I can keep them in the top half. I currently have a 150w MH pendant but I want to try T5's for color and temp.

I'm pretty sure it would work, but you may have trouble at the very bottom of the tank.

There are several other fixtures that size and they have much better reps then Nova...both ATI and Tek make 4 X 24" fixtures.
FWIW, I kept SPS under 3 24" T5. They grew and were plenty colorful. the 24" T5's don't perform like the larger 36 and 48 though. I had several burn out early even with a electronic ballast and active cooling. |

I believe that was a question, he wasn't asking the OP to post a price.

I have a 4x24 T5 over a 10" deep frag tank, and IMO I'd want more. Some of the SPS are losing a little color (with 4 new bulbs).
