WTB, WTT or maybe WTS: tangs and sps
I'm looking buy more rare and colorful sps to add to my collection. I can even trade with some of my tangs if you prefer. Last night I caught 3 of my tangs. The Saifin about 6"-7", Naso about 7"-8" and Powder Blue about 5"-6". I can trade with them.
I may consider selling them if I can't find another tank soon enough to house them. There are a lot of discussion on how to catch fish in the reef tank especially tangs since they are so active and hard to catch. I was able to catch mine relatively easily. If some of you are trying to catch yours and having a lot of difficulty in catching them, shoot me a pm and I can explain. It's pretty easy and relatively little work involved. |

I would never get a blonde male!!!! They're useless. Just kidding and don't mean to offened anyone out there. How can you tell if it is a female or male. I can't see anything sticking out so I guess it's a female. She's very colorful though.

Mike I would prefer trading for some rare or colorful sps but if there are no taker and I can't find a suitable tank soon then I will sell them to you.
Sal, I caught the Powder Blue already. It's was pretty easy to catch him. The first one I caught was the naso and took a little while to catch because I didn't have my setup right. The sailfin and the powder blue was very easy to catch when I got my setup correct. Hey you still want some purple/teal mushroom? Sorry I didn't get to answer you PMed back the other day. Hadn't forgot about you, just didn't have any frag available then. You are more than welcome to pickup some of them up when you are ready. Give me a call at 404-371-3846. |

No problem, just let me know, also are your blue tangs aggresive eaters? If so easiest way to catch them is at feeing with a net. It is how I have always caught fish.

Is it a Blonde Naso, or a regular Naso?... You can tell the males of either (blonde or regular) by their tails. After they reach maturity, the males get long sweepers on their tails, the first pic in this link is a blonde male:

Big D thanks for the info. It's just a regular Naso. I think it's a male since he's very colorful.
Mike I think the naso is the more aggressive eater. My regals grow very fast though. They are the fastest grower besides my red sea sailfin. My tank would never go near the net. I would put a net at one end of the tank and they would run to the other end of the tank. It's ok, I'll catch them once they get out from under the rock work. |
