Great Place(review)

The store is just beautiful. The first thing that struck me was how clean the shop was. One way to know how much a place cares about its livestock is to see how clean they keep thier store. This place was spotless. The frag tank was clean, and full of coral. The livestock was very healthy a full of vigor. I was lucky enough to pick up a 6"inch Miniatus Grouper for 49.99. It is very fat and appears to have a great personality. Its nice to see a place that feeds its fish(especially predators) to where they are fat and healthy. I will visit Imagine Ocean again and cannot wait for my next visit.

Cheers,
Travis Lovett

agreed, it's a great store. Congrats on the grouper. That is a beautiful fish. Wish I had known that was you. I was standing at the register talking to Jenn when you got there.

Thanks for the kind words, Travis! Yep, those groupers eat better than we do! I'm glad he's settling in to his new home - I'm gonna miss him!

jenn will kill me but thank you for not buying him. lol
hes my buddy. i want that fish but my tank isnt anywhere close to being ready for him. i dont want a grouper like him, i want HIM.
i check in on him from time to time. its funny how he seems to have a personality thats all his own.

Mine has been doing a lot of hiding. I hope it mellows out soon. I'd like for it to eat but it cowers away anytime I approach the aquarium.

ROFL - that was mean

(But I like it!)

Triggerdude - give him a few days - he was in my shop for a LONG time, so once he's settled in, he'll be eating you out of house and home in no time. His belly was good and full when he left, so he may not even be hungry as such, for a few days.

My grouper ate today! I was feeding my trigger and the wrasse and the grouper came swimming right up. Wow, was that food gone fast. I'm definitely going to have to feed more.

I'm definitely happy with this fish, it is such a beautiful specimen!
