In a pinch, you can use a john guest valve. Just turn it down where the TDS of the output is still 0.

You can get surprisingly better results with a JG valve or needle valve than with flow restrictors. Put more pressure across the RO membrane and you can lower your waste water ratio without sacrificing output quality. We can get away with that because Atlanta has such good water...
