chaeto

anybody ever try to put chaeto in a HOB filter with the filter in place if theres room? just curious if it would do its job still. the chaeto i mean.

I had a good size chunk of cheato in my h.o.b filter with a little light on it and it seemed to do its job, as a matter of fact it was full of pods and all kinds of things, seemed to do good for me!

It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember reading that someone used an Aquaclear 70 as a refugium.

yes have lights. what other good algae could i use in there?

Chaeto would probably be best - it's more stable than caulerpa.
