quietone 4000 external pump for a 120g?
any problem running a quietone 4000 external on a 120 aga set up?ive used these pumps in the past with no problems just not external. I think they use less wattage the a mag 9.5. my new sump is set up to do external and I want to do anything the keep the heat down exept a chiller.

quiet ones are prone to leak when run external. same with mags, so if you were risking it with a mag then why not with a quiet one?

I run a 4000 on a 120 for the wattage/price and all I can say is I got what I paid for. It can only handle about 400gph at best.

Real Externals are all will trust. Pumps like Blueline, Gen-x, Iwaki, Little Giant, Pan World, Poseidon, and Reeflo. Run anywhere from ~150 to 250 for ~ 1000-1100 GPH. I have bought mine used on here for MUCH less.
