Rose Bubble Tip Anemones FS

I have three small RBTAs for sale at $65 each. I know there have been a few people that have visited that have asked me to let them know when I sell these, however I didn't write it down so if you were one of those let me know and I'll give you priority if I remember that. I'll also give priority to anyone that has bought things from me before. Pick up will be at my place in Lawrenceville.

These are beautiful animals that require at least T5 lighting and a stable environment which usualy comes from an established tank. They are prone to move around the tank until they find a place they are happy with which may not be exactly where you wanted them to stay. They have powerful stings and can kill more sensitive corals they come in contact with.

Here is a picture of two of them, the third is on the backside of the rock.

I would like them if you are not contacted by the other people that wanted them.

Sorry no, I would only be comfortable with bagging them with the person here and taking them home.

Bud,
Those are beautiful. Well worth the trip to L'ville. These would be $100-$125 in any LFS, regardless of size.

I just finished cycling my tank and put my CUC in yesterday. I would love an anemone but is it too soon? I don't want to make a HUGE mistake.

anems

gto......wait at least 5-6 months before even thinking about it....it will not only let the tank cycle and settle down , but it will give you time to learn the adjustments that you will need.....anemones are pretty sensitive but they dont show distress or degradation too quickly....by the time you see it,its too late greg

Want RTBA

Bud,

I've purchased from you before and I'd like one depending on the size. What is the approx size of these and about how large will they grow? I have a friend who had a long stem RTBA and it was over 8" in a short period of time. I have a 170 gal rr tank so I'd like a large RTBA too.

Thanks,
Shane

Shane,
I just picked up one of the RBTA from Bud last week. It is beautiful! I have it in my 70G and it approximatley the size of a baseball when opened up. I think they were all about the same size. If this thing grows as quickly as the GBTA that Bud gave me awhile back, I expect it will double is size in a month! I'll post a pic later today if you would like to see it and Bud is ok with it in his for sale thread.

There are long stemmed anemones? Is there a way to tell which is which before you get it? I just thought that was an individual characteristic of an anemone and not a specific type?
