Prettiest Queen Angelfish in the Southeast - Up for Sale :(
She's been in Loren's FOWLR since his birthday in October and in another member's tank for 3 years prior to that.
Extremely healthy, inquisitive and personable. Gets along well with tangs and triggerfish Hate to see this gal go -- she's a favorite here -- but our tanks are being combined into a 180g mixed reef, and she's a snacker. $65 - non-members $60 - members Fish can be delivered within a reasonable readius of Zip Code 30127. Will try to post more pictures soon. (If chefsung decides he wants her, he's first in line via this thread.) ![]() |

This pic does not do the fish justice.
Let me see if I can get some without the flash. |

There's no tourquoise on this fish. She's gold/orange/yellow to light blue/dark blue.

I can imagine...such a beauty and a great price! If I only had a FO tank I'd snatch her right up.

Regarding this fish's interest in sampling corals, I have no experience with that. She's only been in a FOWLR while she's been with us.
Asking Tony (Tonester Man), previous owner, to comment here and give any information regarding the corals she was nibbling on in his tank. Or anyone interested could send him a PM. She's not bothered any shrimp or crabs, as far as we know. |

IMO, Queens are pretty destrcutive, particularly as they age. Even I wouldnt attempt it, and thats saying a lot! Bump for a gorgeous and hardy fish, though.

Also, when we put those two fish together, the potters angel was the aggressor. Kept hunting down the queen and chasing her all over the tank, so we had to separate them. Is it possible that a queen angelfish could actually remain quite passive? |

Tried taking a bunch yesterday, but we really can't figure out how to get a good picture with the Fiji Fine Pix. All the pictures came it with muted coloring and this fish is vivid.
I may just take a video of her tonight and post it on You Tube. That would show her size, since she's currently in a holding tank with a smaller size niger trigger, yellow tang and flamehawk. |

Chef there are two people we are talking to about housing this fish.
This is a very nice fish and we are particular about where it goes to live. If for some reason they can't then we would consider letting you re-home the fish pending visual verification of your 210. Sorry but this is not the type of fish you throw into a bag and let it go out the door willy nilly. |
