WTT TDS Meter For Refractometer

Title says it all....... I'm getting back in to the hobby and short one refractometer, I do have a TDS Meter that's working very well. Name on it is HM Digital and it comes in a leather case with a belt clip (for the flashy geek in all of us), probably not a very expensive model, but I'm only looking for a basic refractometer thats in good condition with no rust (trust me, experience has taught me to add the "no rust" part).

Thanks for looking,

Actually, you need refractometer calibration fluid in order to accurately calibrate your unit. This is because you need to set it to recognize 35ppt exactly, not 0ppt exactly.

I took my refractometer to Tim at Keen Reef and he calibrated/cleaned mine for free. Good man.

Haha..my bad. I completely mis-read your original post. I thought you were looking for a TDS meter so you could calibrate your refractometer with 0tds water. Wow....

OK, so no one has an extra cheap chinese refractometer laying around from when they upgraded to the nice German model?

How bout a fairly new hydrometer?

Anything? Anything at all?

I got an old swingarm I don't use anymore.

It is made from a high tech material used by NASA called plastic.

It also has some neat blue colored printing on it.

It's left over from when I upgraded to the cheap Chinese refractometer.

.....yeah, but does she still hold air when you blow her up?

Seriously, I'm unsure what you're talking about.

FYI, I used to be able to test salinity of make-up water by taste.... but its been a year...... So thought I'd stick to the commoners methods
