First, I'd like to thank my wife who convinced me not to submit "Skum Bucket", "Muck Monster" or "Sludge Factory"...even though I think they are perfect for imagery purposes.

Seriously, thank you to all of the MRC folks (Margi, Danny, Tim, etc). We are quite fortunate to have them as part of the ARC family; they have been very generous to the club.

I'm sure this is going to be a great product from them, after having read about some of the comparable skimmers on the market it looks like it's going to be a nice upgrade for me.

I'll post some pics when I get it up and going...few weeks I guess.

Panda and I were lucky enough to be able to help design parts of this thing... You know it has to be good with quality like that behind it!!!! Seriously though, it is a pretty kick butt skimmer and Tim over at MRC did a great job on the fabrication of them!

I still think MY names were better but oh well, you can not win them all!!!!

Yippee...and congrats to LorenK for taking his wife's suggestion. Now he's gotta play and work on his tank to get this bad boy installed.

Way to go Loren. Is this going on the Rubbermaid sump? What's the latest on it, are you making any progress?
