Barbecue in Young Harris

There's a bbq cookoff at the Brasstown Valley Resort, Young Harris Georgia this weekend. I'm one of the BBQ Vendors.

Don, how long will you be gone? Are you going to camp out there during the event? That sounds like a lot of fun. Is Young Harris up in North GA somewhere?

Yes.. it is just a few miles north of blairsville (where i live)... Would make a great weekend trip to the mountains!!!! The area is very pretty!

Brasstown valley resort is AMAZING too. And you can go to the highest point in GA- Brasstown Bald. Supposedly, on a clewar day, you can see Atlanta from the top.

Oh no camping's not for me. Motel in Young Harris will do just fine. Since this is a "working" event for us not sure how much fun it will be. Got to gas up two trucks this AM before we leave $$$$$$$$ Got to sell a lot of BBQ to cover that.
