Lukestimp's 29G Nano!

Been away for awhile but I'm back now and finally going to get started on this Project. I purchased a 29G All Glass aquarium and stand about 6 months back but got busy with the purchase of my new Home so I had to wait until we were settled in. Well that time has come! I've got a few ideas on what I want to do, but I'm definately going to be asking for a ton of help.

Here is a picture of the Tank and Stand in it's new location, my Home Office.

Initially I was going to use 2-4" Overflows, but after finding this nice piece of 6" Diameter PVC I have decided instead to create a single 6" Overflow directly in the center so as not to lose as much space in the tank. This will also allow me to create more returns and possibly a closed loop system.

Here is a Picture of the 6" Diameter PVC before being cut to size.

Here is the same piece of 6" diameter PVC after being cut to size.

Here is the Tank and Stand with the Overflow inside, Not glued in yet because there's still some drilling to do.

The ripped PVC pipe is such a cool idea. And I don't know anything about closed loop systems, but I think I want to do one in my 90. I don't think I can drill the tank, so I'd like to do it with PVC, similar to the way I had my return plumbed before I got a reef ready tank. I would love to learn how to build a closed loop system (without drilling the tank).

Well this was the 29G before I turned it into the Sump/fuge. I've never heard of a closed loop without drilling the tank, but I'm sure someone on here will know something about that.
