Ralph's upgrade from an 85 to 100 coast to coast ex

First, let state that you should never offer wine to helpers until after the changeover is complete...just sayin'!

I hope to keep you all as interested in this thread as in my last one, but at over 40,000 views and 600 posts, it's going to be a challenge! I am very thankful and lucky for your replies and questions and "likes" and "dislikes"!

As the title states, it a custom 100 gallon with a coast to coast external flow! Really, Really nice!

SO!....without further adieu, Let's start with the tanks inhabitants first!

Awesome already!! Can't wait to see more ... And this overflow! Yes. I've been getting the bug to replace my 90 even more lately. This won't help!

Really great pics! it amazes when you make the move on a really stabilized tank and with that kind of corals and fishes that are involved, honestly it's really scary for me lol! You really have exquisite corals and pricey and delicate fishes that just an expertise person like you would know how to handle it moving them and reaclimate them to make them feel like nothing ever happened.

Click on the pics!

first equipment pic is a dual fan holder custom made by Marc with two fans that each are low wattage and produce about 100 cfl. This and my eheim heater are on a dual Ranco controller which keeps my tank temp from a minimum of 74 to a maximum of 79 degrees F each day! That's with two, 400 watt radiums and one Reefbrite XHO LED!

and a few pics of more inhabitants!

Very nice Ralph,
Very elegant looking setup!
2 question for you, what's the line running across the bottom of the tank, looks like it's inside under the sand or is it a scratch?
Second, why up on the PVC 90's in the over flow, wouldn't it be a little more quite down?
Just curious.

The line is there because the tank is not quite finished, it still is missing the trim. no scratches yet! lol

The overflow is very quiet, I don't think it would make a difference whether up or down.
