Help a sponsor out!!!
This is the Echinopora skeleton that was stolen from behind the shop sometime between 6:00 PM March 1, and 11:30 AM March 2.
Lets help Jenn out and keep an eye out for this piece as many of you know that has visited her shop, she has been growing this out for quite some time. It died on her with complications and means more to her than value as this thing had been growing for 8+ years. She left it behind her shop to bleach out and keep, and unfortunately someone took it. I will offer up some live coral or cash your choosing for its return no questions asked... This was taken from Imagine Ocean in Canton, GA please contact Jenn if you know of its whereabouts The crappy thing is more than likely it was just some passer by... Not likely anyone might see it as its probably going on someones bookcase as decor... and probably more than likely just some random person out of place... hate to see something happen like this with Jenn being so helpful to everyone in or out of the hobby Last edited by BrandonMason; 03-02-2013 at 1:21 PM.. Thanks, Brandon. There's no need for a reward - I don't think it will come back. It was probably some random person driving behind the plaza last night. I knew there was a risk leaving it out there, was trying to dry/bleach it in the sun so I'd have a keepsake. I was rather fond of that colony, grew it from a thumbnail-sized frag, over the course of about 8 years, so it was a sad day when it crashed last week.
I guess somebody wanted it more than I did. Jenn

On an off chance, Jenn, you might talk to the owner of the gas station to see what he has on his security cameras.
Unfortunately I don't work you side of town any more so I won't be much of a help |

His cameras (and mine) don't go back there. I've contemplated putting a camera back there, but we don't usually leave anything of any value back there - stuff has walked away before. Amazing what junk people will take (sometimes it's a favour when they do LOL).
It really wasn't valuable ... just the sentimental value. Like I said, I knew there was risk leaving it there, but I was reluctant to take it home to dry, there was more risk in damaging it by transporting it. Oh well, give me 8 more years, I'll grow another ![]()

LOL - the little plastic bucket we replaced it with was gone this morning too - from out front!
I'll be keeping an eye on Craig's List on the off chance that somebody tries to sell it.

Jenn if it was the Hollywood stunner I have a large frag that came from that piece. I would be more than happy to cut it in half and give you the other half.

Thanks
Yes it was the stunner - and I have live pieces of it still. The novelty was more in its age/size. Not sure I'll try to grow out another monster (maybe...maybe not). Jenn

I have a few frags for sale. And I'm starting one over from a frag too (blue). Same animal as the green was, I bought a frag of blue from another hobbyist a couple of years ago. It's popular so we haven't grown one out. I did have a larger piece but it harshed with the giant green one :( Oh well, we have a some starters still.
