Monday August 30th was the last day that I was taking RSVP. On Tuesday at 9:00am, I sent the FINAL RSVP list to seachem.

This was important because seachem had to rent chairs for the presentation, be properly staffed for the event, and have the appropriate number of goody bags for everyone. The first late RSVP I recieved was on Tuesday at ~11:30 am. I said to myself, that shouldn't be a problem, I'll send seachem an email. They said that as soon as they recieved my origional email, they began their part of the planning, and had already put in an order to rent chairs. The "stragglers" would have to stand, and may not get a goodie bag.

Ok, here's my descision. It's not fair to the people that did RSVP in the appropriate time. It's probably going to be busy, and I won't have time to micromanage who gets to stand and who doesn't get goodie bags.

This conflicts me, I want everyone to come. I also respect the company that is hosting this meeting. I'm afraid that if your pm has a time stamp after 8/20/12, and I have not responded to the RSVP(everyone should have recieved a confirmation if the RSVP was recieved in time). Then you are going to have to sit this one out....

I'm with ya 100%. It's even worse to RSVP and NOT show though. Easy solution for any of those folks. They might find their Christmas party RSVP lost this year!

Does anybody know if you can purchase things at Seachem? Also, we will be driving from Cleveland through Athens. Where is the LFS in Athens??

Didn't you mean, Monday Aug. 20th? (the 30th hasn't happened yet...)

Looking forward to escaping the store a bit early today for a change! ("Other Jen" will be holding down the fort in our absence!)

no you cant buy anything at seachem the site we are going to is their warehouse and office building and they are a wholesale only company. but from what ive read it seems as though there will be goodie bags so you might just get what you're wanting in the bag lol

Edit: oh and ill also be stopping by aquarium outfitters in athens on my way so i might see you there
