Are these brown button polyps??

Bought some chaeto and live rock friday from our LFS ..and these little things are popping up! We've seen about 7 of them. Just want to know what it is that we have.. Hope it's something good!

They are a little immature at the moment, but definitly look that way. Kill them using reef napalm

why would you kill em?? They're cool to some people. Its not like you're dealing with aptasia or majano's. Plus I think they're in the refugium!?

Edit: and button polyps would be my guess too.

Thanks you too for clearing that up for us! We were just excited to see that they looked like polyps Wish they grew in a cluster like zoanthids instead though. They are in the sump and there's one in the display. If it starts looking crazy we might get them outta there!

It's not easy being brown. Same creature as some of the fancy ones (zoas/palys). Nothing wrong with them - they'll thicken up as the colony increases. If they were in a LR vat for a while they probably didn't get much light or care, but they'll grow.

I think they're cute.. if they live, can't see what they look like bigger.

Edit: Atleast I think they look alot like the picture that I posted.. they have like a peachy base and sorta red/brown tips with a lighter center.

Edit:
