Don't worry, you will be a good candidate in the future under a different theme.

The purpose of the theme is to steer away from always selecting the 500 gallon system packed full of Acros. The theme will also help with education. In this case, some may find the thoughts behind the design, tools used, paint/stain combination, to be interesting.

Unfortunately, the theme is sometimes subject to judgment. Custom built/one off stand vs a modified stand.... SPS dominated or not... Large or medium.... Etc. As a committee we will have to deal with those type judgment calls on a case by case basis.

The goal is for TOTQ to be fun and interesting to all while not get caught up in the "rules".
I agree with your rational and having fun! if it's not fun; no point! Thanks for restarting this!

sorry, for one negative, but if it was easier to upload pics here (like every other sight in the world), I would post more pics of my tank....I am guessing that I am not the only one that feels this way (my point). Thanks!

Ralph, what is your method for posting pictures? I use my iPhone for most pictures. Then I upload it to photo bucket via an app. Then I just copy the link and use the insert picture link tool (or whatever it's called).

Good question Austin, we will be doing a write up of the winning tank within the next few weeks. Sorry for the delay.

I would've entered, but I didn't build my stand...I stained it myself, but I got it in a trade unfinished.

It's not too late to enter, check the link above, the priviius requirements do not apply anymore and the contest is open to everyone.
