how long do you keep a new fish in the box before releasing it?

A couple of days. When I released the fish into the main system he flashed and chased every fish all over the tank for a couple of hours. It was reminiscent of how a guy would act during his first day in prison to dissuade the special lovin!

It took about a week and a half but I finally got my fish. My DIY trap has not let me down yet. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363234413.020542.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1363234427.236528.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1363234444.069775.jpg

I would consider the frag swap a success! I wanted to come away with a center piece chalice and I did, plus a whole lot more. I was surprised to see how willing and enthusiastic the out of town vendors were to trade. It allowed my list to grow substantially. For every dollar I spent at the swap, I was able to receive 2 dollars in trade credit.

Frag Junky - Rainbow Convict Chalice
Frag Junky - Goniopora
Gonzo - Utter Chaos Palys
Gonzo - Sexy Corals Angel Eyes Favia
WWC - Flaming Phoenix Chalice
WWC- El Diablo Chalice
WWC - Stylocoeniella
Greg. - Candy Apple Red

I also just took one of my favorite fishes out of QT. I just hope he takes it easy on my clean up crew!

Dave, the stand is the nicest part of my tank! I will say the wife has warmed up to the tank. We can put our 5 month old in front of it and it buys us 20-30 minutes of peace and quiet! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1425156546.082959.jpg

A few coral shots. Please forgive the bubble algae. I'm in dire need of emeralds, but they just end up being a meal for the tusk.

Jason Fox Flame
Raptor Rainbows
Stylocoeniella

I am able to keep hermit crabs and snails. Although the tusk will eat them if the opportunity arises.

Absolutely stunning! How about a FTS? Looks like an incredible system (and the cabinet is one of the best I've seen here)
