Need New "Quiet" "External" "Submersible" pump for my 125

Hello to everyone... I have not been on the forum for a long time... life has been very busy to say the least...

I currently run a MD-40RXT - 1344 GPH - IWAKI JAPANESE but it (2nd one) took a bath when my sump overflowed the other day.... second time this has happened.... 1st time was a siphon issue with the ATO, this time was my fault. I did not close a valve to the saltwater line and I turned on the pump to mix a new batch of water. My water sensor started the siren and well I am sure you know the rest as we have all been there at some point. The pump is still running but it is louder that normal now. I am sure the coils got some rust.

Anyways as this is the second pump that has gotten wet, and these are quite expensive pumps at $320 each, I am wondering if anyone knows of an external pump that is submersible in case the sump overflows again.

I used to have a SYNCRA but the $100 shaft broke twice. I also had a MagPump but if I remember correctly, that heats up the tank too much.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Al

Love the Blueline pumps. I recommend them to all my customers wanting some hefty and external. But they are not quiet at all.
