MRC Rimless Reef Tank with MRC Radion Mount and Gen 1 Radion $360

Picked this up at the frag swap, too good of a deal to pass up. I was thinking to polish it all up, upgrade, and sell it, but I just have too many other jobs popping up since then. So I figured I'd offer it to someone here and if they wanted me to dress it all up or do any mods/upgrades then we could work that out after purchase.

The tank measures 26"x26"x18" tall, probably around 40 gallons. I cleaned it up and ripped all the old plumbing out as it needed to be redone anyways. It is drilled for a 1" durso and 3/4" return that split to two 3/4" bulkheads with locline outlets. There is also what appears to be a hole drilled for a 1" bulkhead on the left side of the back wall. I was told this was set up for easy water changes. This could easily be filled with 2 part acrylic epoxy or covered and sealed with black acrylic, or left as is. I can drill it for one or two more drain pipes if someone wants to set it up for bean animal or herbie style drains.

Also, I do not know the age of the Radion, but it is Gen 1 and does look to be working properly.

If you are familiar with MRC and Ecotech products, then you know the price is a steal...

$360 for it all, as is. This is what I paid for it plus the little bit of upfront cleanup and work that I have done on it.

Again, I can do all of the sanding, polishing, and refurb that is needed to make this tank look brand spanking new, but figured I'd offer it at this price in case someone wants to DIY it and save some cash.

Wow, smoking deal! Can't imagine how much the tank alone would run new. Wish it would have been around a week or so ago, I would have been all over it.

Hey Grant, I was wondering, do you know if the gen 1 radions fit the RMS mounts? I'm just curious.

Pretty sure they share the same bolt hole pattern/alignment.

Yeah, from the picture it looks like they're probably the same hole pattern. Thanks!

Looks nice. Looks like it would make a great frag tank. Especially for someone who might want to sell frags at the next expo/show.

Would you consider possibly selling just the light?
