Do you think your adding trace elements with a reactor rather than just alk and calc?

I bought 3 of those space saver jugs from BRS, but they are too big for the space I have.
Do you use enough Mag to make the pump worthwhile. I have the two now, but never had to dose Mag that often.

I am not trying to answer his opinion but from my research, your tank does not respond to consistent mag like it does for calcium and alk. I just give my tank 20ml a week of mag and i seem to be doing fine. if you watch the brs video he will hit on that same point. Please let me know i am wrong as I could add a third dosing pump if it would benefit

Ok I am trying to figure out if I need to dose....I have a small tank (20gal display with 10gal sump) of probably around a 25 gallon water volume, maybe a little less. I have lps and zoas in the tank.

Should I test daily to figure how how much is used or would it be better to test weekly and divide it out?

I did a 5 gallon water change with reef crystals last night and I just tested the Ca at 420 and the dKh at 7. I dont know if the levels are so low because it had been over two weeks since a water change, if the API test kits were reading low, or if the tank is actually using it. I cant really afford any pumps or reactors at the moment but I dont mind manually dosing if its needed.

I guess what I am asking is if you think I should dose, and if so how much, or maybe just move to weekly water changes instead of every two weeks?
