It does look a little bleached or at least not a lot of color but other than that, it looks very happy. Looks like you clown is happy now too. :-) How long have you had it and what kind of lighting do you have?

I am no expert but, if it were me, I would just give it a little time. Then I would start to up the lighting some but do it slowly.

To be honest I did not plan on turning my LEDs all the way and probably leave them at their present levels.

10-4. May not be enough light for the anemone. But I could be wrong.

For most anemones you need more light but BTA's can survive just fine under low lighting. I would say it's more than likely stressed from the transfer between tanks. Give it some time and don't forget to feed it.

If you go through and read all the articles Anthony Calfo did on anemones he was raising and propagating thousands under normal t8 lighting. He was also gut loading them but still..

The lfs had it under what looked like 2 t5 one white, one actinic.

I will try and read up on what Mr. Calfo has to say about keeping anemones.

I noticed today when I got home that my anemone was shrunken up and the tentacles were kinda of flat. I bought some egg crate from HD and was wondering if this was the right thing to do? My female clown has been harassing it and may be even mating with the male clown in the tank.

Nems shrink on ocassion. I could set the atomic clock with the schedule mine shrinks. If it stays shrunk for more then a couple hrs I would start to worru. It could just be getting use to the, clowns. As long as it is attached it is alive.
