waterproof end caps

i'm having lighting issues as of yesterday, saltcreep and moisture in my end cap once again wanting to start a fire. we we're smelling that plastic burning electricial smell and know to go straight to the tank now.
so i find a non insulated square pin arcing and melting and so on.
now i'm looking for ALL new end caps with rubber seals and what better place to come to get them then my friends here. HELP
and as if that wasn't bad enougth i broke my pc antic bulb trying to get it out off the fixture, so need some bulbs also.

thanks

Plenty of places sell the replacement t5 ends online. Bulkreefsupply aquariumspecialty

They are relatively cheap. Install them to where the bulb prongs are seated snuggly in the endcaps you do not want any gaps to cause any arcs.

Good luck. I installed a smoke detector above my tank incase I'm home Im alerted.

I think I have a pair in my "spares" box. Would have to go look. For T5?
