Any of you guys in the area have a powerhead you can part with? Maybe even a couple of nanos <$25-30.

..not in Macon, that where. ARC MGA can travel to Destin and talk about tanks while catching Pompano, let us know. I'm planning to drive to Pensacola this summer, so maybe there's a pit stop out your way.
Edit: Which ones do you like? I wish Macon pets had that stuff. |

Personally I like the Koralia Nano pumps. Some people say they dont put out enough water movement but I like them. I agree, I wish there was a place to buy them local. I have to order pretty much all of my equipment off the internet.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180857612302...84.m1423.l2649 I just bought 2. I have super high hopes for small size--big circulation. They are the 425's. I also have a Vortec MP10 and a 500g/h (claimed) canister running, so hopefully this gives me the swirling movement i want to keep algae for lingering around. |

Post pictures on work in progress?
Could you post some pictures on the process you take for your in the wall aquarium?
Pictures of your sump plumbing would be nice. I'm considering converting my garage to my "mancave" with some reef tanks. Preplanning, project is just a thought for now. May start the project in a few years. I need to get some ideas and drawings down first. ![]() Edit: Could you post some pictures on the process you take for your in the wall aquarium? Just getting started
WBRK,
Here is a couple pictures of where we plan to put the tank. The tank will have glass on both sides. The bottom of the DT will be 3-4" above the wainscoating in the dining room. The TV will be mounted above the DT on the living room side. The tank will be in the neighborhood of 200g. I will be able to plumb the tank for water (RO/DI) and sewer from under the kitchen sink to minimize water spillage. I am excited to get started. Lots of planning ahead though. I started planning the tank out using Google Sketch and I will post it as soon as I finish the design for feedback. |

Looks really nice, Sonny. What are you going to do to finish the stand off; some sort of wood surround, or just leave the metal frame showing?

Thx JB! Yeah, I am going to do some type of wood finish for the stand. Tbryan, will do. We are looking at buying some pajama cardinals from live aquaria once my QT has cycled. If I get my DT done in time.
