Apex Kalk stirring program

Introduction:
This program is used with Kalk reactors that need periodic mixing and settling. The program below will mix the Kalk for 5 minutes, every 6 hours and allow the Kalk to settle for 40 minutes before allowing dosing (topoff) to resume. It integrates with the topoff switches I described in the following post: http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=48301 It will prevent dosing (topoff) during the daylight hours as well as when the pH of the tank raises too high.

Kalk_Mixing (pump to mix Kalk)
Fallback OFF
OSC 005:00/005:00/350:00 Then ON >>>> Turn on for 5 minutes out of every 360 (6 hours)

Kalk_Ready (Virtual outlet to track Kalk ready status) >> When this is on, Kalk is ready to be dosed
Fallback OFF
Set ON
If Outlet Kalk_Mixing = ON Then OFF >>> Kalk is Mixing
Defer 040:00 Then ON >>>> Kalk is settling

Topoff (topoff pump)
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/001:30/008:30 Then ON >>> only top-off 1:30 out of every 10 minutes to limit the amount that can be dosed
If Outlet Sump_Fill = OFF Then OFF >>> If the Sump_Fill switch is off, don’t dose
If Outlet Main_Halide = ON Then OFF >>>> If it is daylight, don’t dose (dose all Kalk at night to limit the pH drop over night)
If Outlet Sump2Full = ON Then OFF >>>>> If the sump is too full, don’t dose
If Outlet Kalk_Ready = OFF Then OFF >>>> If Kalk is not ready (mixing or settling), don’t dose
If pH > 08.40 Then OFF >>>> If pH gets too high, don’t dose

Adjust the OSC command in the Topoff outlet to pump enough Kalk during the dark hours to keep your system topped off.
