well due to all the recomendations I decided to check it out anyways...
DEFINITLY worth going back. Very nice store. Only thing is I wish they would be more active online with information on when shipments come in and sales. |

That place has been around forever and unlike a bunch of other places I have been they don't try to over sell you and they have to be some of the nicest people around.

I was there today, and their fish selection was great and the coral area is looking very good- maybe the best I've seen it. I picked up a couple of chromis, and they are already feeding and looking good. They seem to sell fish quickly so if you're driving a long way I would just give them a call in advance to see when the last shipment has come in.
I've been a customer (birds -and- fish) for more than a decade and have no complaints whatsoever about the service. It's not the biggest shop, but I like it a lot- especially the people. |

I stopped by there today also. Very friendly. We have bought a couple things from there in the past with no complaints.

I love this place. Always healthy fish and great staff. Def worth checking out. Also if you call them they can tell you when the shipment is coming and can also special order something for you. Just ask.

I just came from the Avarium and was impressed at how nice the store is presented. Not much into birds but the fish side was nice. Wish I had remembered about using my ARC membership card!!!

I started out buying FW fish from them 4 years ago and have bought some of my prettiest SW fish from them.(multi colored angel, purple tang, diamond goby) Also the first place I bought a coral-my pink-candycane. One of my most favorate corals-my pectina-you don't see them very often.
Bill & Katie are really nice people. If you are a bird lover it is the place to go, Katie hand raises most of the birds. |

I have been shopping at the Aviarium for about 20 years. They are the only fish store that does not hound me or try to sell me something I don't need. Bill and Nick are primarily the reasons I go there, their expertise is bottomless. I used to buy Oscars and other freshwater fish as a kid but my tastes have matured to saltwater. I recently had an issue with some Acros and I did exactly as they said and used exactly what they recommended and in only 2 weeks my tank is thriving. I have never been able to keep Montipora and Digitata and now I'm watching them thrive. Bill even knows that I am a clam nut and went to his supplier today to get me 2 clams. If thats not personal service I don't know what is. Yeah I may look at other LFS but I buy most of my livestock/corals from them and always will.
Its rare to find a store that stays open for well over 25 years but if you shop there regularly, you know why. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won't be disappointed.
