Is everyone running their LEDs? Just curious...

Please tell me what units you're running, how high off the water they are, if youre running optics, and the depth of your tank.

I've got my MM about 10" off the water. Theyre over a 24" deep tank with no optics. Just wondering where others have theirs. Thanks!

Has anyone ever seen a taro tree slowly fade over the course of a year ? It appears healthy it just very slowly gets smaller. It gets moderate light. It gets moderate flow. I placed a piece of it in a higher flow/light area and it didnt seem to make a difference. I weekly feed the tank with seachem reef plus and zooplankton. The only thing Ive ever lost is a birds nest when I got distracted by Christmas and let the nitrates slip up.

For the most part its a very healthy tank with consistently good and stable parameters.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do?

Thanks

Hey guys and girls I need some help. Currently running a 38 FOWLR and looking to upgrade to a 75 reef. I have found a 72 bow front RR with everything at a good price but long drive. I also found a 75 at similar price short drive. The 75 is not drilled. It is any acrylic tank with everything. I will want to drill it and make a custom overflow. I can do the drilling but making custom overflow I have no clue. What is the best deal and are their members that can make a custom overflow.

I found a 2.2 gal rimless tank at a LFS for 10 bucks cause it leaked. Sealed it back up and have been running it for a month now, got my light fixture for it, a Wave Point micro sun white/blue clamp on. I'm really impressed with the light for being under $40. Filter is a little nano HOB but bioload will be only Coral and a invert or something small. I also have a Reo 600, which is way too big I think but I had it sitting around. Because the tank is so small I'm going to try and keep only a few very bright corals in here. I have some nice LPS nad a few montis. I will probably frag my larger tentacled frogspawn as well. I'm looking forward to making it a tiny showpiece!
