I am looking for a low cost 20/29g tall with the top for my daughter

I may have a 20 gallon tank if the next month /month and a half I wil be getting rid of. I will be upgrading my tanks and will be breaking down 2 20 gallon FW tanks. They have everything for a FW set-up.

Is this for a salt water tank or a freshwater tank? I have a 29g with a blue background and stand that I can sell for $60. It doesn't come with a top but you could buy a glass top for these for pretty cheap.

This setup will be for my daughters chiclids we want to transition her from gold fish to brackish fish then eventualy to reef

It is glass. I also want to make sure it is OK to get rid of this tank from the wife. Do not know if she already has plans for it or not. I will get back to you in the next day or two.
