Our August 8, 2006 meeting will be at SeaVentures (http://www.seaventures.com) dive store. For those who were at SaltwaterU, SeaVentures was the sponsor at the end of the sponsor hallway with the large display.

We will be focusing on SCUBA and the details involved. Many of us are divers, and many others want to get involved. The presentation will include:

Information about SCUBA diving
What it takes to get started, how easy it is, etc (no sales pitches!)
Pictures/videos from our own diving members
Q/A session for those interested in diving
Raffles of both reef items and some diving-related items
Open frag trading, as the venue store isn't competing with them
Social afterwards at the sports bar next doorThe talk will be held in the pool room and the surrounding area. I'm still working out the details on who exactly will be presenting, etc. Stay tuned.
