I am about to start and LPS cube. You LPS vets have any suggestion on the spectrum of lights and how much light? I am thinking about doin 4 24" 24w T-5's over it. I dont wanna use halides because my 250w HQI in my 90 melts LPS.

Here's my button coral (the green one, center bottom.) A few months ago, though, a rock fell on it and it's been doing very poorly. Would anyone like to try to nurse it back to health?

Okay, 3 quick questions:

1) What's your address?
2) When are you going on vacation?
3) Where do you hide your extra housekey?

Those are soooooooooooooo nice!!

Looks pretty spectacular to me! That candy cane is awesome! The ones I got from you are doing great and I think a couple of the heads now have two mouths so hopefully they will be splitting soon.

Thanks Bud! Glad to hear you the candy cane is doing good. I think it's about time for me to frag it again.

OK, I changed my mind! After seeing Melissa's there's no way I'm putting a picture of my frogspawn and candy cane out here.

WOW! Melissa those are fantastic pictures of really cool corals.

Aw, don't be like that! ;) Post your pictures, silly! I have taken tons of photos that do NOT turn out very nice at all. If it makes you feel better, I'll post some of the blurry, not-good shots I should have deleted.

You just have to take about 100 photos to get 5 really good ones and keep trying different things to see what works. Then practice those shots. It helps if you have a camera that isn't too touchy or one that you can adjust manual settings. That said, my camera is not a top of the line machine by any means. I have just about maxed out its capabilities, though.

No - I don't have any acans. My tank is mostly LPS, dominated by chalice corals, so most of the photos are different chalices.
