My brother and I enjoy shopping at Marine Fish because he has a planted freshwater tank and, of course, I have my reef tank. Every couple months we have a day off together and hit up the fish stores. This past weekend we headed up to see what they had to see.
Of course I found a nice colorful chalice that I absolutely don't have any room for! If anyone gets up there today - check it out. But I did find some really nice captive-propogated gorgonians and a very colorful (also captive-propogated) frag of palythoa grandis. All my LPS are horizontal growers. The gorgonians also add some movement. It was VERY hard to choose from the ones they had. Their tanks looked great. I spent so much time looking at the corals that I neglected to check out the fish tanks.
Patrick was very helpful and we chatted about some of the corals they had in stock. All in all, it was a fun shopping experience and I now have some vertical growth in my tank.
